Wake Med Guest Speakers

On January 16th, two internal medicine doctors came to discuss about their journey through medical school and what their profession entails. In addition, they talked about steps that should be taken during undergraduate and graduate school to be prepared for medical school. They discussed the differences between CRNA, EMT, and other certifications offered as early as high school. Furthermore, summer volunteer programs were mentioned as well as scholarship opportunities worth applying for senior year while looking for colleges.
