Our Programs

Please view the slides embedded below for a detailed overview of our programs.

Enloe MBSA offers many programs for students to engage and participate in. These programs provide great service and give back to the community, whether it be spreading awareness or helping individuals. These programs are:

Internships

Students gain valuable work experience through summer internships during their junior or senior year. While interning, students learn more about the medical field and gain an understanding for the various careers involved in healthcare. Students then present their internships during MBSA/NAF Night.

Job Shadowing

During job shadowing experiences, students follow professionals in the workforce and learn about the career and the various tasks involved in the role. Some places MBSA students have job shadowed at in the past include Urban Ministries and Cary Cardiology.

Career Fair

Throughout the school year, students are provided opportunities in-school to learn about health occupations through career fairs. Professionals come to the career fair and educate students on specifics of their field.

S-Projects

Enloe MBSA provides students various service projects to take part in. From donation drives to helping out at a local food pantry, we ensure that members stay involved in their community and learn to give back to others.

Puppet Shows

MBSA also interacts with the youth at elementary schoolers to spark interest in the medical field. These puppet shows are created by the students of Enloe MBSA and take a great amount of enthusiasm and practice.

Knopro Challenge

The Knopro Challenge is a competition that allows innovation and creativity to prosper and grow. In this challenge, a group of students find an area of inequity in healthcare. They come up with a solution based on research, and help from medical professionals.
