About OSHA:

 

This is a job safety certification that MBSA academy members are required to complete during their junior year. They learn about personal protective equipment and rules and regulations in their MBSA classes. Students obtain a card certifying that they completed their 10 hours. 

 

Requirements:

- 10 hours need to be completed

CPR Certification:

 

In order to obtain this certification, students first go through formal training in their Health Science II Honors class their junior year. They have to pass the written exam first and then simulate performing urgent life skills to provide treatment for life-threatening cardiac emergencies such as cardiac arrest and stroke.
